WHEE.
okay i'm high.
but i've got every reason to be.
cuz we were rockin yesterday.
okay...
so our motion was " This house believes that doctors should be given the right to end the lives of their terminally ill patients "
and we were opposition.
i was damn nervous cuz ALY and JOAN were at netball.
and every one else was in their groups practicing.
then finally the arrived all sticky and sweaty.
but at least they were here.
then the other debate went on first.
SU was absolutely great.
and SHA gave a tough fight.
HWEEPENG was very cute.
but yes she was good too,
and well SALWA's points were good too.
but the opposition gave a tough fight.
esp SHA.
then SU's group won.
but it was a tough one lar.
cuz both sides had good points and all.
then we were supposed to go nxt.
but we had abt 10 mins to prac.
and i was bloody nervous cuz my whole thing was like 3 mins and i had to talk for 6...
when we began the prop had lots of gd points.
but we REBUTTED.
well ALY was rawkin.
her timing was gd and stuff.
then when i went.
i rebutted and stuff.
but there was just one problem,
THE DAMN BELL DIDN'T RING.
i had 4 main points.
i was alr finishin my third,
the oh so lovely JOAN and ALY were like "omg, she's almost done"
and i went like real slowww.
then finally the 5min bell went.
then i moved on and finished at 5mins 30secs.
then we prepared the rebuttal for joan.
but JOAN didnt bring one of the papers with most of the rebuttals.
and the stuff she had could only be talked abt for like a min or so.
but i must say,
that girl can talk.
she dragged her points for almost 4 mins.
whoohoo.
hahas.
well though we won i have to admit the prop was equally good.
and i think what mattered more was that each of us gave our 100%
so i guess all of us were winners.
really enjoyed the three days.
so thanks to everyone who made those days possible
and sowie if i had said anything wrong...
